Since 2010, C2E2 is an annual comic book and pop culture convention that takes place in Chicago. This year, it takes place March 18-20 at McCormick Place's South Building. With featured partners like Marvel, DC comics, Revolution Beer, and twitch, you know you can expect a great time.
This three-day event has an action-packed schedule of exhibitors, panels, autograph sessions, and of course... people watching.
Schedule — Plan Your Visit
Most events take place between 10am - 7pm, with various events taking place outside of those times. Visit C2E2's official website to see the full schedule, which features big names like Drax and Thor comic writer — and MMA fighter (above) CM Punk, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and an Adult Swim panel with Robot Chicken and Mr. Pickles themselves.
I won't pretend to know what you're most interested in, as many diverse tastes are represented, so instead, here are some resources for planning your visit, by event type.

- The complete list of panels and screenings
- The complete list of Artist Alley attendees
Besides these scheduled happennings, mixed in are rows and rows of new and classic toys, posters, artwork, novelties, costumes — and of course, comics. Here's the floor plan if you're more of a visual person.
McCormick Place may seem out the way, but the event planners put together a thorough guide for different kinds of transportation situations — Green Line CTA L Train is a good bet. Try and catch the free shuttle, if you can.
C2E2 is a great place for people watching. There's a lot of creativity and cosplayers — see your favorite characters come to life, or get inspiration for next Halloween's costume. Besides everyday people living like characters, you'll also have the chance to interact with celebrity guests — if you can find them (or wait in line for their autograph).

Besides the main event, there are several afterparties to continue the fun all night long. These ones are your best bet, with an endorsement from C2E2:
2016 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo tickets are on sale now, and range from $30-40 per day. A 3-day weekend pass is $65. Kids can come on Sunday for just $5 with the purchase of an adult ticket. VIP tickets are currently sold out.
If you can't make it to the event, but still want to be a part of it, C2E2 will be livestreaming all weekend long.
