For a limited time - and while supplies last - the Illinois Restaurant Association will offer pre-sale tickets for the sixth annual Bon Appetit presents Chicago Gourmet 2013 (September 28 & 29, 2013). Beginning Thursday, May 30 at 10AM, diners interested in grazing Chicago's best dishes one small bite at a time can get their passes at http://www.chicagogourmet.org. Pre-sale tickets will be sold at $119 per person, per day, or $199 per person for a Weekend Pass. This pricing represents a 25 percent savings over regularly priced tickets, which are $159 per person, per day, or $265 per person for a Weekend Pass.

Additionally, tickets to the hugely popular Grand Cru Tasting - which takes place from 2-4 p.m. each day of Chicago Gourmet and features the world's finest wines and the nation's top Master Sommeliers - will be available for purchase during early registration. New this year, the Grand Cru will showcase the cuisine of premier chefs from around the world. Tickets are $199 per person, plus the cost of general admission. The Hamburger Hop - an all-beef battle between the city's top chefs - will take place on September 27, and tickets will be made available at a later date.

Chicago Gourmet 2013, a celebration of food and wine, is one of the city's most anticipated culinary events and tickets will go fast. More than 150 of Chicago's best restaurants and chefs (as well as mixologists, wine makers and craft brewers) will pack Millennium Park to offer a sophisticated taste Chicago. Guests can also expect a full lineup of live cooking demonstrations, gourmet tastings and seminars, so no more excuses when it comes to the sloppy presentation of your homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or under seasoned Hot Pockets.
