Riot Fest & Carnival returns to Humboldt Park this summer (September 13-15) with a lineup that will satisfy punk purists, angst-ridden ‘90's rockers and fans of funnel cake alike. Headliners include arena fillers like Blink 182 and Fallout Boy, but what makes this particular festival such an incredible experience is its eclectic collection of undercards like Public Enemy, Dinosaur Jr. and Rancid.
The star power doesn't stop with the headliners, either. Motorhead, AFI and the Violent Femmes are all on the bill. The festival season's most consistent lineup of hard rockers also includes Bad Religion, Pennywise, Glassjaw and GWAR. Yes, GWAR.
If you're bringing a friend who's a bit skittish around mosh pits, Atmosphere, Yellowcard, Sublime with Rome and kiss-the-ring locals The Lawrence Arms provide an incredibly star-studded down shift. Check out the poster for more names, most of which you'll probably recognize from your iPhone's "Workout Mix."
