AllSaints Spitalfields has officially landed in Chicago! The UK transplant known for its sumptuous leathers and handmade merchandise has taken Michigan Avenue by storm.

The store design team was determined to cover the space, which is 11,000 sq. ft. with 42ft ceilings, from top to bottom. Filled with reclaimed artifacts, cast-iron furniture and 800 vintage Singer sewing machines, the store is unlike anything you've ever seen.

The industrial decor is the perfect setting for the equally appealing clothing, shoes and accessories. My personal favorites were the leather jackets for both men AND women, the hand beaded dresses and the calf hair pumps with heels made of gems, nuts and bolts.

You can't help but notice the muted colors throughout the store.  Color is purposely lacking due to the fact that AllSaints' goal is to create versatile pieces that can be easily mixed and matched with past and future collections.

The über fashionable employees are on hand to assist you and/or make you drool over their great looks and incredible sense of style . IPads are placed strategically throughout the store to assist consumers looking to shop the Archive Collection or items not physically in the store.

Wondering about prices? Well, let's just say it's not fast fashion....AT. ALL.  You may have to dig deep inside your wallet to make a purchase. But the high level of quality the AllSaints items possess is more than enough to justify the price tag.

So, the next time you're on the Magnificent Mile, be sure to stop by AllSaints and check out the freshest space on the block.
