Chi-Town Rising NYE CelebrationThere are certainly no shortage of amazing New Year’s Eve parties in Chicago. I won’t even attempt to list them all, instead, I’ll offer some of the best picks in different categories. Chicago has a lot to celebrate this year, and a lot of different ways to do just that!

Chicago's Own "Times Square"

New this year to Chicago is a New Year's Eve celebration called "Chi-Town Rising." There will be fireworks that can be visible from all around the city, musical performances from legendary rock band Chicago and top new artist American Authors, a big countdown to 2016, and so much more. There are different options for families too with a FREE kid-friendly afternoon celebration in Millennium Park.

Goofiest NYE Party

Headquarters is one of the coolest bars in Chicago, if only because both locations are filled with free arcade games! This year for NYE, the Lakeview location is hosting a Pajama House Party, with a prize for the best onesie. If you need an excuse to leave the house but don't want to dress up... this is it.

Cheap NYE Party

When I was systematically going through (almost) every NYE party looking for the best deal last year, I found Jack & Ginger's. It was cheaper last year, but $60 for unlimited premium drinks and apps is nothing to scoff at. It's a little off the beaten path too, which is nice.

Maxbar has a similar deal at $55, which would technically make it the cheapest deal I've found this year with drinks included.

Big Splurge NYE Party

We'll call this one of the biggest splurges, because there are many others in a similar price range. For a completely classy NYE, check out one of Chicago's best hotels, and book yourself a room for max convenience and relaxation

The Hard Rock Hotel is putting on quite the party this year. They're partnering with Playboy and are offering discounted hotel rates for partygoers!

Music Concerts on New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve in Chicago means some of the best concerts of the year. Here are a few to choose from:

Or if you want a music-centered NYE party, check out Beauty Bar's Dance through the Decades.

There's really a party for everyone on NYE in Chicago. Which one do you think you'll go to?
