If you’ve been to Millennium Park, you’ve probably looked up at the stunning fountains at the northeast corner of Monroe Street and Michigan Avenue. They are, of course, the wonderful Crown Fountain designed and executed by the Catalan artist Jaume Plensa. Since their installation in 2004, millions of people have played in the water that surrounds the fountains in the summer and enjoyed watching a rotating cast of Chicagoans projected on the screens that add a bit of whimsy to these amazing pieces of art.

Maggie Daley Park charmed us with its ice skating loop, challenged us with its climbing structures and thrilled us with its amazing play garden. It's easy to spend an entire day playing at this beautiful park, thanks to the tennis courts, picnic groves and fun, family-friendly events. Now there's yet another amazing thing to do at Chicago's best and brightest new park: City Mini Golf!

The Ferris wheel at Navy Pier, an iconic part of Chicago’s skyline, received a makeover for the start of the pier’s 100th anniversary year last summer. Soaring nearly 200-feet high, the Ferris wheel offers 360-degree views of the Windy City and is now taller and faster than ever.

Chicago’s public art continues to receive accolades from all corners and even a short walk through the Loop will reveal masterpieces by Louise Nevelson, Pablo Picasso, and Jean Dubuffet. Fortunately, 2017 also happens to be the official Year of Public Art in the city so there are a number of new and compelling installations around the city.

If you haven't been to the Lakefront Trail in Chicago, you're missing a lot of natural beauty (all FREE for everyone to enjoy), efficient transportation to Chicago's neighborhoods, and a great opportunity to get in a workout. Here's why we love the Chicago Lakefront Trail, and some things you might not have known about it.

Folks around Chicago and the world are excited about the ongoing celebration of Frank Lloyd Wright’s work as they continue to honor the 150th anniversary of his birth. You may already be in the know if you’re an architecture fan, but even if you're not, the Pedal Oak Park bike tour being offered this summer is a great opportunity to celebrate the architectural master and check out some of his famous places, all from the seat of your cruiser bicycle.

Chicago's boat tours are one of the most popular attractions during the summertime, and for good reason. The tours are a great way to get to know the history and architecture of the city. Plus the views of the buildings from water-level are just stunning. But there are a number of different tour companies that offer boat tours, so which one is right for you? Let our guide help you decide!
