Summer is still in full swing, Chicago! Although the school year season is creeping closer, the summer adventures aren't over and the great weather is something to take advantage of. From craft beers to Chicago-style hot dogs to a bug exhibit to a handful of cultural celebrations, this weekend has something for everyone. Other than the packed list of things to do in Chicago this weekend below, there is also a handful of August festivals to keep your eye out for. 

August has arrived, Chicago! This summer feels like it's flying by, but don't miss out on the opportunity to check out the things happening in Chicago this weekend. From a music mega fest to unique neighborhood celebrations and special summer boat cruises, this weekend is one you won't want to miss.

Notice some big crowds around? Lollapalooza, one of the most popular music festivals in the country, takes over Grant Park starting on August 3, with its last performance ending on August 6. It’s time for the weekend once again, Chicago. Summer is winding down, but the things to do in Chicago aren’t! Explore Chicago’s breweries using the craft beer trail itineraries built around six neighborhoods of the city. For sports fans, the MLS All-Star game is coming to Chicago hosted by Soldier Field.
