She is a currently a student at the University of Iowa, but her distance from the Chicago has only made her heart grow fonder. Michael Jordan's Last Shot Basket

Located in Harry Caray's 7th Inning Stretch at Water Tower Place (835 N Michigan Ave), Chicago Sports Museum has curated even more Chicago sports memorabilia. For just $5 — or free after dining at Harry Caray's — see and experience some of the greatest moments of sports history. From Mike Ditka's playbook to Benny the Bull's suit, these 8 new exhibits will take you on journey through Chicago sports' history.

Chicago Gourmet

Bon Appétit presents Chicago Gourmet is back September 23-25 for its 9th year. This year's  theme is ‘Food is Art!' and will be hosted by celebrity chef and restaurateur Rick Bayless. The main event takes place over two days (hurry, Sunday tickets are still available!), but here are six special ticketed events and cook-offs you won't want to miss, including the debut of a new celebrity taco bout.

Tall Ships
As part of Navy Pier's 100th anniversary celebration, Chicago's top waterfront destination is hosting the spectacular Tall Ships festival, an event featuring some of the most majestic ships on the seas (or lakes!). Catch 14+ vessels making their appearance at the Pier, including the largest Viking ship in the world! View the Parade of Sails, explore the ships and even sail away at Navy Pier Tall Ships July 27-31.

Taste of Chicago
Get a true taste of Chicago in Grant Park July 6 - 10. Enjoy a variety of food, lively music and the scenic lakefront at this free, five-day festival. Sample Chicago's diverse dining scene with 69 vendors made up of the city's top restaurants and chefs. Although the opportunities for fun at the 36th annual Taste of Chicago are countless, here's a few highlights of the festivities by the numbers:

Chicago Greeter ProgramExplore and experience the Uptown and Hyde Park neighborhoods with Chicago InstaGreeter! The hour-long walking tours are part of the official Chicago Greeter program. InstaGreeter is a spur-of-the-moment option with no reservations or registration required. All you have to do is pop into a departure location a a designated meeting time. Granita EatalyMuch like a visit to Chicago, no two trips to Eataly are the same. While new food hall style dining is on the rise in the city, the Italian marketplace, located in River North, is constantly adding new items to keep an edge on the competition. This summer Eataly's all about bringing the flavors of Southern Italy to Chicago. Here's 3 new summer-inspired additions to Eataly's La Piazza and Gelato Bar that are perfetto:

America's Cup World Series Chicago: June 10–12, 2016

Get a unique perspective of history in the making at Louis Vuitton's America's Cup World Series this weekend. Not only is Chicago hosting the sailing competition for the first time, but it's also the first time in 165 years that the competition will take place in fresh water. These viewing options provide the best opportunity to see the race and the Chicago skyline.
