In recent years, men's style and personal grooming have become increasingly hot topics. As a result, high-quality men's barbershops are more in demand than ever. Still, for many men it can be hard to know where to turn for a great cut expertly executed in an environment that matches their sensibilities. Thankfully, for men traveling to Chicago or locals looking for a change of pace, the city has barbershops to match any taste, whether they run toward luxury pampering, contemporary style, or the traditional shave and a haircut.

Lollapalooza, August 1-3 in Grant Park, is one of the largest music festivals in the nation and one of Chicago's top destination events, with last year's installation reportedly drawing more than 100,000 attendees per day. Outside of the crowd and the expansive festival site, the size of the artist roster alone is enough to make the three-day, genre-spanning festival daunting and difficult to navigate.

Pride Parade

If there’s one thing Chicago has, it’s Pride. The beautiful rainbow kind, I mean. This weekend, Chicago holds its annual Pride Parade, and I’m about to explode with glitter. That’s because Chicago does Pride right — big, bold and, well, proud. In this, the year that Illinois became the 16th state to legalize same sex marriage, we celebrate how far we’ve come and the amazing community that surrounds us. Here are five things I’m looking forward to this Pride weekend!
