Coming Home

This past summer, my wife and I finally closed on our new home near Addison and Southport in the Lakeview neighborhood. The cool thing is I grew up just a few blocks away on Paulina and Addison, so it was more of a homecoming. The weekend we moved in, we took a break from unpacking to go to the Summer on Southport festival. Sort of wrapped up everything I love about Chicago: summer, street festivals, and live music. And being back in my old neighborhood in the home where we’ll raise our future family just sort of brought it all together for us – we’re Chicagoans for life.
