Experience the famed Baton Show Lounge, a glitzy and glamorous revue featuring female impersonators since 1969, and a very popular destination for bachelorette parties and visitors alike who are looking for a unique entertainment experience. Weekend shows feature characterizations of top American divas like Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson. The seating is set up similar to a comedy club, with cocktail tables scattered throughout the room around a main stage.
Through the years The Baton has become famous across the globe as presenting the best of the best in the art of female impersonation with its "Tops of the Nation Revue." Much credit for its success is extended to Irv Kupcinet, former columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times, whose article on the club helped lead to Jim Flint and the cast appearing on Phil Donohue numerous times and on various other shows such as Maury Povich, Oprah, Sally Jesse Rapheal, Jenny Jones, E! Entertainment Network and many more.
Over the years the walls of the club have seen many special visitors including Joan Crawford, Sammy Davis, Jr., Carol Channing, Dinah Shore, Kirk Douglas, Lauren Bacall, Shirley McLaine, Joan Rivers, Madonna, Janet Jackson and Dennis Rodman.
