Food for Thought is a leading provider of fine catering and event planning. For more than 25 years, it has been driven by two principles: delicious food and gracious hospitality. Food for Thought has access to venues such as The Field Museum and Chicago History Museum, and is the exclusive food service provider for the Adler Planetarium.
Founded in 1983, Food For Thought Catering enjoys an esteemed place among Chicago special event planners. It is the exclusive caterers for the Adler Planetarium and ThunderHawk Golf Club, and is on the preferred caterer lists for such distinguished venues as The Field Museum, Chicago History Museum, Millennium Park, Caf� Brauer, and the Chicago Cultural Center.
Food for Thought its expanded into contract foodservice operations in 1989 by developing the Food for Thought Caf� concept. Our caf�s have consistently received high marks for creative menu development, unique marketing, and innovative merchandising.

A world of discovery awaits at the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere, with 14 acres of hands-on exhibits designed to spark curiosity, ingenuity and creativity. Guests can explore the legendary U-505, a German submarine captured on the high seas during World War II-now indoors in a new 35,000-square-foot exhibit; take off on an authentic Boeing 727 airplane for a simulated cross-country flight; descend down a mineshaft for a tour of a realistic Illinois coal mine; witness 12 robots at work in a real toy factory; or take in a thrilling movie at the five-story Omnimax? theater. Live demonstrations, costumed exhibit interpreters, groundbreaking temporary exhibits and special programming bring the wonders of the Museum to life for all ages. Regular Museum hours are 9:30 - 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday,11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday. Extended hours, until 5:30 p.m. each day, will be offered from May 24 to September 1. General admission to the Museum is: $13 for adults; $12 for seniors and $9 for children 3-11. City of Chicago residents receive a discount.Omnimax? films, 3-D films and certain special exhibitions are not included in general admission.
