Advertising in the CCTB's Leisure Publication, the Chicago Official Visitors Guide

- Date: Three times annually in the months October, January, June
- Participation Deadline: Three times annually: August, November, April
Program Description/Target Market: The Official Visitors Guide (OVG) is targeted to
- the over 13 million leisure travelers that visit Chicago each year. It is the only
- publication that is sent out to the thousands of travelers looking for more information
- on what to see and do before they arrive. In addition, the OVG is the only publication
- that is distributed inside McCormick Place and is also available at over 50 different
- hotels and attractions downtown.
Program Benefits: Advertising in the OVG allows members to target leisure travelers
- in advance of their trip to Chicago while they are in their planning stages. It also
- allows tourist to make reservations and plans weeks or even months in advance.
- Finally, since it is the only piece inside McCormick Place it is used by the millions of
- convention delegates for options on dining, nightlife, shopping, attractions,
- transportation, etc.
Member Opportunity: Quarter page to full page ads available to CCTB members.
Cost to Participate: The cost to participate will vary depending on the size of the ad,
