Chicago is host to two Major League Baseball find a game scheduled at either Wrigley Field on the north side or U.S. Cellular Field on the south side.

Basketball & Hockey
Bulls and Blackhawks play at the United Center at 1901 W. Madison, 312-455-4000. The building is a tourist stop if only to view the life sized bronze statue teams. The season opens in April, and you're sure to of Michael Jordan. Hockey and Basketball begin in the fall and playoff games extend in to the spring. Tickets for games are hard to come by, so plan ahead.

Chicago is also home to an IHL hockey team who play at the AllState Arena near O'Hare Airport.

Football
Chicago's football history goes back to the 1930's and is played at the newly renovated Soldier Field located on the shore of Lake Michigan just south of downtown. The season opens the first week of September and continues through the end of December.

Soccer
Major League Soccer is a 10-team league in which each team plays a 30 regular-season league games per team. The Chicago Fire plays in Chicago at the newly renovated Soldier Field beginning in April and it extends through the MLS Cup which is played in November.
