The A. Philip Randolph Pullman Porter Museum is an African-American Labor Museum, the

only one of its kind in the nation. Located in Chicago’s Pullman historic district, the museum is recognized locally as a historic site and is a unique addition to the tourism sites of the Pullman community. The Museum is recognized nationally as a valuable and unique institution in the museum community.

The museum's permanent collection pays tribute to and displays exhibits pertinent to the study of American Labor History with a specific focus on the African- American contribution and includes but is not limited to: the Pullman Company, as it relates to the African American Railroad employee, Black labor history, A. Philip Randolph, The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, (Pullman Porters), the Great Migration, and the American Civil Rights Movement.
