Foodseum is Chicago’s first nonprofit food museum. That’s right, a physical space dedicated to providing an educational journey through the history, people, and farm-to-table transformation of specific food types. Our mission is to provide an education-based central location for anyone to learn about, celebrate and be inspired by food. This universally accessible location will be dedicated to helping visitors of all ages discover their passion for food. Through interactive exhibits, educational seminars, developmental programming, and events, Foodseum provides fun accessible food education for all and inspire the next generation of great chefs, restaurateurs, food historians, food scientists, culinary professors, farmers, food writers, food manufacturers, caterers, food explorers and most importantly food fans.
