Small group guided walking tours of the Bucktown and Wicker Park neighborhoods. Featuring the area's history, mysteries, and ghosts.
From the neighborhood's origins -- through its growth, decline, and rebirth -- you'll walk in the footsteps of fascinating characters and see or hear things you won't believe (and some you maybe shouldn't). Experience interactive mysteries, forgotten history, and surprising secrets, all expertly presented by a neighborhood local.
Both tours take you beyond the bustle of the popular Wicker Park/Bucktown dining and shopping district. You'll explore the streets and avenues were residents live, love, laugh, and die.
Wicker Park and Bucktown are a short cab ride from downtown locations, and are easily accessible via the 'L' subway, bus, or Metra train. The walking tours cover about a mile, at a leisurely pace with frequent stops.
All tours are personally guided by Gordon Meyer, a neighbor resident, writer, magician, and graduate of Chicago's famed Second City Training Center. He is also very tall.
Days and hours vary the season. Private tours are also available.
