Everybody Can Suck It

You met her on "Suddenly Susan," caught glimpses of her on "ER" and "Seinfeld," and liked what you saw on her HBO and Bravo comedy specials. But it was on Kathy Griffin's Emmy award-winning program that you fell in love with this Chicago native and her "d-List" life.

Catch the d-list diva in her true element on October 14-16 at the Chicago Theatre, where she'll have more stories, more dish, and so much more of what she shouldn't say – but you know you want to hear.

Snag your tickets today and accept Kathy's personal invitation to "Come with an open mind and laugh until you puke... just a little."

Something Wicked This Way Comes

Boystown goes balls to the wall every Halloween. And when the big eve kicks off a weekend, as it does this year, imagination and outrageosity know no bounds.

Chicago's most renowned – and uninhibited – Halloween party will draw even more than the usual thousands of spectators for the 12th Annual North Halsted Halloween Parade. Stepping off on Friday, October 31 at 7 PM, this year's costume parade has a new extended route from Belmont along Halsted all the way to Addison.

Before the parade, tricked-out kids, pets, adults and groups will compete for funniest, scariest, and most original costume honors as well as cash and prizes. Organizers expect imaginations to run wild as participants create costumes which relate to this year's theme: the year of the rat in the Chinese Zodiac.

Post-parade entertainment will take center stage with great live music. Get the latest details.

Play Well With Others

It’s no secret that Chicago loves sports, and there are many sports clubs tailored for the out crowd. From badminton to skiing, you’ll find a league of your own all year long.

Chicago Metropolitan Sports Association – the Midwest's largest not-for-profit gay and lesbian sports organization – offers year-round recreational and competitive level play. Open to all, CMSA has men's, women's and mixed leagues in badminton, bowling, dodgeball, flag football, kickball, soccer, and softball.

Chicago Gay Hockey Association
welcomes everyone with a passion for the game - novice or pro, male or female, straight or gay. CGHA's The Blackwolves, two-time champions, is expanding play to Chicago's McFetridge Park District Ice Rink.

Chicago Dragons invites athletes from typically underrepresented groups – particularly gay men – to engage in rugby football, the world's third most popular team sport.

SkiBudz
– Chicago's Gay Ski and Snowboard Club - heats things up all winter and plans summertime camping and canoe trips.
