This sports-themed salon (its walls feature autographed photos and jerseys of famous athletes) in River North offers much more than a buzz cut and the game on flat-screens. One of the Loop’s newest men’s grooming spots features a reservable VIP suite, which includes a personal concierge (who’ll get Dad a drink and help him book dinner reservations) and private treatments (manicures, hot shave, haircuts) in a comfy chair. But he’ll still feel like a very important pop even if you skip the luxe room service and gift him a package deal ($100): Mix the Michigan Avenue haircut (normally $57) with the Gold Coast Deluxe facial (regularly $55–$75) or the Soldier Field pedicure ($50) and a one-hour massage (usually $75).
