One of Chicago's trailblazing warm-weather fests, this iconic and popular summer happening returns for its 32nd year to the streets of the city's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Taste of Lincoln Avenue features 250-plus vendors, food and more than 25 acts on three music stages. Every music genre is represented: from blues and country to rock and folk.
Sprawling over several blocks and side streets along, fest highlights include nearly 30 music acts on three stages and the stand-alone (and wildly popular) "Kids' Carnival" with art activities galore, stage performers, a petting zoo and much more.
Taste of Lincoln also features an abundance of food, libations, nearly 100 neighborhood vendors and the Lill Street Craft Fair that showcases the creativity of two dozen artists. Among this year's dozen or so food vendors are the neighborhood's Fiesta Mexicana, Sweet Station (Chinese), and American fare from Clarke's Diner, Lincoln Hall and Lincoln Station.
In addition, the music stage lineup has something for ever musical taste: from acclaimed indie and classic rockers to legendary Chicago blues acts and top local tribute bands who keep visitors partying throughout the weekend.
