In a partnership with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Southeast Environmental Task Force (SETF), MoCP will mobilize artists' creative visions and talents in response to the environmental and public health impact of petcoke, a dust-like waste product containing carbon, toxic heavy metals, and other dangerous compounds resulting from oil refining processes in the Chicago region and beyond. The project involves the commissioning and exhibition of projects from artists to document and inspire action around petcoke and the often-overlooked relationship between that growing industry and climate change.

Mondays - Wednesdays & Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursdays: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sundays: 12 - 5 p..m.

The MoCP is CLOSED when Columbia College Chicago is closed, including all major holidays.
