The Festival will present 71 feature-length and 42 short films from Latin America, Spain, Portugal and the United States. The Festival opens Friday, April 20 with the Chicago premiere of the Argentinian comedy 'One Night of Love' directed by Hernán Guerschuny and starring Sebastián Wainraich and Carla Peterson and ends Thursday, May 4 with the Chicago premiere of the Venezuelan biopic 'Tamara', winner of the Nueva Vision Award for Spanish/Latin American Cinema at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. All of the films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles (unless otherwise noted). The audience will also have the opportunity to participate in discussions with local and international filmmakers after most of the screenings.
