Jeff award-winning Theater on the Lake celebrates 60 years in 2012. To showcase this landmark, they have a stellar lineup of eight plays in eight weeks from artistically diverse Chicago theater companies. Each show has pre and post show programming surrounding the event. And if you're a theater buff, the series now offers a Weekend Diamond Flex Pass that is valid at Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances for three different shows.
The Show
From June 27-July 1, see Nathan Louis Jackson's drama BROKE-OLOGY. This play will touch your heart, especially those who have experienced sibling rivalry. It centers on two brothers who find themselves at odds when they have to decide who will take care of their ailing father.

Theater on the Lake and the League of Chicago Theatres will be hosting Theater Thursdays on the Lake for the entire summer series.
