Express your artistic side with your family during Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art's hands-on summer series. Summer Studios takes place every Tuesday during the MCA Farmers Market and also during Tuesdays on the Terrace.
Each week, adults and kids explore a different theme from the exhibitions Rashid Johnson: A Message to Our Folks and Skyscraper: Art and Architecture Against Gravity through hands-on art activities. Some projects include:
- Seeing City Sounds: Contribute to a collaborative artwork by drawing the sounds you hear.
- City Reflections: Sculpt a structure using reflective and shiny materials.
- Body Building: Transform your body into a skyscraper.
