Grant Park Music Festival - the nation's only free outdoor classical music series - continues its 78th season in a program from the heart of the German music tradition, featuring works by three of the great 19th century composers with popular Festival guest artist, violinist Christian Tetzlaff, and his sister and frequent collaborator, cellist Tanja Tetzlaff. Under Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar, the Grant Park Orchestra will perform Beethoven's Coriolan Overture, Brahms' Double Concerto, and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 1.
