Grant Park Music Festival - the nation's only free outdoor classical music series - continues its 78th season with this iconic Beethoven masterpiece with a famous opening gesture and uplifting emotional message plus two works inspired by Egypt. Under Guest Conductor Jun Märkl and featuring pianist Pascal Rogé, the Grant Park Orchestra will perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Debussy's Khamma, and Saint-Saëns: Piano Concerto No. 5, Egyptian.

Whether you listen from your place in the Seating Bowl or while enjoying your picnic on the Great Lawn, the state-of-the-art Jay Pritzker Pavilion unparalleled acoustic system delivers an extraordinary sonic experience for audiences with the starry sky and Chicago skyline as backdrop.
