Adrift is a dramatic play about a man named Isaac Abbas. He grew up with a father who was a Naval Officer suffering from post-traumatic stress, which continues to haunt him. As an adult, Isaac tries to help one of his student's relationship with his father, confronting definitions of truth, loyalty, honor and accountability.
On Sunday, August 5, a special post show discussion regarding Post Traumatic Stress Disorder will take place after the 2:30 p.m. performance. Dr. John Mundt, a staff psychologist at Chicago's Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, will focus on a range of issues and problems impacting returning veterans.
