Cable television station Bravo has ordered up another season of its reality cooking show "Top Chef" with the upcoming fourth season being filmed in Chicago. Bravo executive Frances Berwick said, "Chicago is a hotbed of great talent and it felt like the next logical step." Chicago chef Dale Levitski recently took second place on season three of the show and will open his own restaurant that will feature high-end diner food in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood in 2008.
Needless to say, Chicago is major player on the national culinary scene with chefs at many of the hippest restaurants in town taking their cuisine to a new level.
