Malpaso Dance Company of Havana

Malpaso is a passionate contemporary dance ensemble that embodies the rich culture of Havana. Under the leadership of choreographer and artistic director Osnel Delgado, the company works to bring Cuban contemporary dance into the 21st century by collaborating with top international choreographers and nurturing new voices in Cuban choreography. Catch the showcase at The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago (1306 S. Michigan Avenue).
Impulse, Interactive Public Art at Navy Pier

Polk Bros Park at Navy Pier introduces Impulse, a publicly activated light and sound experience that uses repetitive units of subtle light and sound to create a temporal, ever changing event, allowing guests to create co positions with unique, urban instruments. Fifteen seesaws ranging from 16-24 feet in length, will illuminate and produce audible tones when in motion, activating built in lights and speakers. Come out to play and enjoy these captivating works of art.
Chicago Cubs Trophy Tour
Head to the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture (3015 W. Division St.) from 10-11:30 a.m. for the Cubs trophy tour. Fans will be able to take a complimentary photo with the World Series Trophy during the college basketball doubleheader. Fans can upload their photos to social media using the #CubsTrophyTour hashtag for a chance to be featured at www.cubs.com/trophytour. The first 500 fans will receive a wristband to ensure their ability to see the trophy. Additional fans will be accommodated if time permits.
Thodos Dance Chicago Closes The Season w/ FULL CIRCLE

St. Patrick's Day Parade/River Dyeing

The dyeing of the river has been a tradition for many generations and attracts 400,000 thousand people dressed in green to see the action live. The coloring only lasts for about five hours, so be sure to get there right when it happens!
The parade is packed with colorful floats waving green/white/orange flags, troops of Irish step dancers, booming marching bands and much more. If you want more elbow and viewing room, we recommend snagging a spot toward the start of the parade in Grant Park (Columbus & Balbo).
- City Winery Chicago will open its Riverwalk location from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with wine, live music from Rick King's Royal Hustle, food specials including a Corned Beef Sandwich served with chips, a Corned Beef Plate served with potato salad and cabbage and Vegetarian Irish Stew composed of root vegetables, mushrooms, faro, leeks and kale.
- Weather permitting, take a guided tour on the green river with Urban Kayaks beginning at 10 a.m. Make your reservation online.
- Visit Downtown Docks, Lillies and Tiny Tapp for specialty cocktails and/or hot chocolate and other treats.

Frozen Irish Coffee at Drumbar

Drumbar welcomes guests to indulge in an open bar, featuring a high-end whisky tasting and Irish-themed beers and craft cocktails. Specialty cocktails will include frozen Irish coffee, jack rose, and Irish old fashioned.
AceBounce St. Patrick's Day Bash

Enjoy a morning filled with FREE ping pong, excellent food and drink specials and a DJ cranking tunes from 8am-12pm. AceBounce will also offer a special $10 pizza and beer combo available all day.
To kick-off the day, from 9am-12pm, Miss Ricky's will offer beer and shot specials and guests can enjoy live music from Kevin Flynn and the Avondale Ramblers. To continue the daytime festivities, guests can head up to the hotel rooftop, Cerise, where DJ White Owl will be spinning from 2pm-6pm.
