That was the message delivered last month to a collection of Chicago attractions assembled at the Willis Tower for an update about our global tourism efforts.
The Tourism Sales and Marketing departments have created an integrated, international sales program which includes a necessary presence for partners in Choose Chicago publications, website and digital marketing. Through our Co-op Program, our partners have face-to-face opportunities with trade show participation, sales missions, and media and trade familiarization tours.
Our objective is to go to market with as many partners engaged as possible. Our buyers in the global travel trade want to see all that is available in Chicago. The opportunity for those hotel, restaurant, and attraction partners is to capitalize on the access Choose Chicago provides as a conduit to increasing their own share of the business.
