In celebration of Shakespeare's 400-year legacy following his death in 1616, Shakespeare 400 Chicago is a year-long arts festival, featuring inspiring events and productions throughout 2016. With more than 60 of Chicago's cultural institutions and more than 400 renowned artists from across the globe participating, this international event will present Shakespeare's works in an array of interpretations, taking form as opera, dance, theatrical productions, music, literature, visual spectacle and even cuisine.
