“We hosted our 63rd annual meeting and our 70th anniversary in our headquarters city. Many of our attendees were first time visitors and were amazed at all that Chicago had to offer and the warm welcome presented by all.”

“The annual convention is NASP’s premier event each year, and this year’s convention was the second largest in NASP history. The overall response from more than 6,000 attendees of the event has been overwhelmingly positive, due, in large part, to the superior service that the Chicago team provided.

As expected, the city of Chicago provided an outstanding backdrop for an educational event and offered all the culture, entertainment, dining and site-seeing convention attendees could possibly want. In fact, I continue to hear that the NASP attendees received an extremely warm welcome from individuals throughout the city and that service levels were truly outstanding.

In short, meeting in Chicago was a terrific experience. In fact, I would go so far as to day this year’s convention was the smoothest running event of my career!”

“BIO requires 9-10 venues for various receptions. The Chicago CVB did an amazing job helping us find these venues. When we arrived for our site visit of approximately 40 venues they had prepared a great book with information on each venue, including contact information, photos and websites. The book was organized by our appointment schedule which they had prepared as well. They had gotten very creative and had some great ideas that we hadn't thought of. We move quickly through these venues and they made sure we stayed on track by communicating with each venue ahead of time. They escorted for 3 days! We have never had a more detailed, well-organized site visit! A standard by which BIO will now measure others!”

“Chicago is an ideal location for the RSNA Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting. The excellent international access via world class airports, the variety of hotels, the world-renowned cuisine, the skilled labor, and outstanding facilities at McCormick Place all add up to a first-class, global city that our attendees love to return to year after year. The Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau and McCormick Place are true partners of RSNA, and work with us every step of the way to create the best possible experience for our attendees.”
