PRIVATE EVENT SPACE REVEL DOWNTOWN OPENS

Revel Downtown, a versatile private event space located at 440 W. Randolph, recently opened its doors last month. Part of the Revel Group, Revel Downtown occupies the former industrial building designed by Daniel Burnham, updated with modern amenities and interiors.

TIPPLING HALL SCHEDULED TO OPEN IN SPRING

Tippling Hall, an "open three-pronged space with a rustic bent," is scheduled to open at 646 N. Franklin St. this spring. The Mercadito Hospitality project will have unique cocktail options and will feature more than 40 foreign and domestic bottled and canned beers, along with 50 wines.

CTA BEGINS BLUE LINE RENOVATIONS

Starting March 21, the CTA will begin weekend-only closures of parts of the Blue Line, upgrading stations and tracks between downtown and O'Hare International Airport. The $492 million project will be the first renovation for the O'Hare branch in 30 years and should be completed by the end of 2018.
