McCORMICK PLACE IS THE LARGEST CONVENTION CENTER IN THE COUNTRY

McCormick Place's unprecendented labor changes and amenities make it the country's most customer-friendly convention destination. It is managed by SMG, the nation's leading private management services provider.

RECENT LABOR AGREEMENT

Thanks to an agreement between McCormick Place, Navy Pier, MPEA, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 134, and International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local 2, Chicago is a more attractive destination for conventions and trade shows.

As of 2012, IATSE stagehands may complete a type of work - including that involving audiovisual, lighting and sound equipment - that was previously completed only by IBEW electricians.
