Get Involved with Small Business Saturday

Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday sits Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to helping small businesses and their communities. By supporting local, independently owned small businesses, we're helping to create jobs and boost the economy in neighborhoods around Chicago.

Small Business Saturday was created by American Express to promote and draw awareness to the small businesses that are so vital to our national economy. In 2012, more than 2.7 million Facebook users, 230 public and private organizations, 75 corporations, and elected officials in all 50 states declared their support for Small Business Saturday.

In 2012, over one hundred million people shopped small on Small Business Saturday. This year, Small Business Saturday is November 24th and we want to help make the day even bigger. Choose Chicago recognizes the importance of small business in Chicago, the jobs they help create, and the culture they instill in our neighborhoods.
