Chicago, IL, April 1, 2015 - PCMA, PCMA Education Foundation, Choose Chicago, Chicago Area Chapter of MPI, Midwestern Chapter of IAEE and the Greater Midwest Chapter of PCMA announced today their support and involvement in Meetings Means Business' first annual North American Meetings Industry Day [NAMID]. On April 16, 2015 the organizations will gather at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, 8:30am-10:00am, to celebrate the unsung heroes who keep the meetings industry's wheels turning in a positive direction and spotlight the substantial value derived from business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions by connecting people and driving positive business results throughout the continent.

The Chicagoland Four Star Award nominations were submitted by local meeting professionals with finalists, selected by the event sponsors, to be announced on April 6, and the ultimate winner awarded at the April 16 event.
The celebration will be hosted by Choose Chicago CEO, Don Welsh and PCMA President and CEO, Deborah Sexton. Meeting industry professionals and supporters can register to attend the Chicagoland Four Star Awards here.
