    NFL DRAFT TO RETURN TO CHICAGO IN 2016

    Slated for April 28-30, 2016, the NFL Draft will return to Chicago, which will be transformed into Draft Town once again for an immersive fan experience. The locations have yet to be decided.

    CHICAGO PLANS $248 MILLION RENOVATION AT MIDWAY AIRPORT

    Midway International Airport

    The largest investment plan for Midway International Airport in nearly 10 years, the $248 million project announced by Mayor Rahm Emmanuel will include an expansion of concession areas, terminal parking areas and security checkpoints.

    SHERATON CHICAGO CELEBRATES $25 MILLION RENOVATION

    In celebration of the completion of its $25 million renovation, Sheraton Chicago is offering a special package that includes a wine or cocktail to "toast" to the occasion, paired with special rates starting at $174 per night. The Toast Package is available for stays through September 30, 2015.

    SECOND PHASE OF RENAISSANCE CHICAGO UPDATE BEGINS

    Renaissance Chicago Downtown

    After its completion of renovations to the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel's guest rooms, suites and lobby area, The Gettys Group has shifted its attention to the second phase of the renovation project: the hotel's third floor, which includes a new ballroom and rooftop bar and lounge. The renovation is scheduled to be complete in spring 2016.

    FOOD AND BEVERAGE ENHANCEMENTS AT UNITED CENTER

    As part of the ongoing renovation plan for United Center - home of the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls - an innovative dining plan called "Chicago's Plate" brings together long time fan favorites and new food and beverage offerings. Launching this fall, the new concession stands and walk-up bars will be featured on the concourse and club level, including the likes of Big Star, Publican Quality Meats, Jake Melnick's Corner Tap, Leghorn Chicken, Lillie's Q's and much more.

    Meetings and events planners have a new alfresco option for urban gatherings with the completion of the ZED451 rooftop, where 2,500 square feet of flexible space offers Chicago skyline views, high-top communal tables, cabanas and fireplace lounge areas for up to 115 guests. A complimentary shuttle can transport guests to and from downtown hotels.
