JUN KANEKO EXHIBITION IN MILLENNIUM PARK'S BOEING GALLERIES
Jun Kaneko is a pioneering artist in the field of massive ceramic sculpture while
playing with scale and proportion. Visitors will be able to see his work
displayed at the Boeing Galleries in Millennium Park from April 12 through
November 3, 2013. Kaneko's installation for the galleries is representative of
both his past and present artistic practices. Visitors will see the Dangos
(meaning "rounded form" or "dumpling in Japanese) that look like giant bears
covered in a variety of colorful shapes and patterns along with other
impressive works. The Boeing Galleries are two outdoor galleries located on the
mid-level terraces at Millennium Park. Cost is free.
