64 CHICAGO RESTAURANTS MAKE MICHELIN'S BIB GOURMAND LIST FOR 2013
The Bib Gourmand designation represents restaurants that serve two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for $40 or less (tax and gratuity not included. This year, 64 esteemed Chicago restaurants made the list, with 19 newly added to the category. Among the Bib Gourmands, 22 different cuisine types are represented.
NEW WOMEN'S SOCCER LEAGUE LAUNCHES IN 2013
U.S. Soccer has just announced that a new eight-team women's soccer league will launch this upcoming spring — in March or April — and will play 22 games through September or October.
Though many details (like league name and stadiums) are still being worked out, teams will come from Chicago as well as Boston, Kansas City, New Jersey, Western New York, Portland, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
