MURAL INSTALLED IN CHICAGO'S LOOP

A large, colorful, 500-square-foot mural of a parade (depicting an unusual scene with sea creatures as parade floats) was unveiled at the historic Century Building (202 S. State Street) on July 16, 2013 in Chicago's Loop.

The mural is called Float, and is by artist Noah MacMillan. It took several nights to install and it's the largest printed artwork in downtown Chicago. It's part of the effort of the Chicago Loop Alliance to use art, design and technology in public space.
