How to Search for Chicago Hotels
Searching for the right accommodations for your attendees can be overwhelming in a city that has so many choices. To help you hone in on the perfect place for your Chicago-based meeting or conference, check out these important tips.
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3…
1. Filter out the noise.
First things first: Get rid of any unwanted search results. From the hotel search, select the hotel category and/or specific neighborhood you're interested in. Looking for a B&B in the 'burbs? A hotel with meeting space around Midway Airport? How about a motel off The Magnificent Mile? The more specific you are, the quicker you'll zero-in on your ideal accommodations.
2. Compare hotels side-by-side.
Once you've got a manageable amount of hotel options, take it to the next level and see how the accommodations stack up against each other. From your hotel search, pick up to four of your favorites at one time, click the check boxes for each hotel and hit the "compare" button to view them side-by-side. Not only will you be able to view amenities, services and capabilities at a glance, you'll also see each hotel's location on a map.
3. Submit a single RFP to multiple venues at once.
Armed with your top four choices, it's time to submit an RFP. Again, from your hotel search, click the "add to RFP" check boxes next to your favorites and hit the RFP button. You'll be taken to a comprehensive form you can fill out and submit instantly to all four hotels.
Bonus Tip: Look for deals.
On the Hotel Deals section of this site, hotels will list discounts, upgrades, rebates and complimentary offerings. Take a look around to take advantage of great hotel deals and don't forget to browse additional deals for tours, entertainment, dining and more.
