Located at 610 S. Michigan Avenue, Spertus is Chicago's Jewish education and cultural center. The institution offers a multitude of public programs including exhibits, performances, film screenings and lectures. Spertus collects, preserves and displays materials from the Jewish experience and offers accredited graduate-level degree programs.
With a stunning building that offers unmatched views of Grant Park and Lake Michigan, their South Loop property features a 400-person theater, gift shop, and library.
In addition to its academic offerings, Spertus is known for a lively events calendar that includes guest speakers and art exhibitions. The institution's library and celebrated collection of books, films, artifacts, artwork, and music are inspiring and help to preserve the material culture of the Jewish experience.
