CHICAGO RESTAURANT WEEK RETURNS WITH MORE COOKS IN THE KITCHEN

Chicago’s February celebration as a world-class dining destination features more restaurants than ever before

CHICAGO - Chicago Restaurant Week, produced by the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau (CCTB) is Chicago's celebration as a world-class dining destination. Supported by the CCTB's restaurant members, the fourth annual event kicks off February 18 and runs through February 27 with more restaurants than ever before and exciting new twists.

More than 200 restaurants throughout the Chicago area will offer three-course, prix fixe lunches for $22 and dinners for $33 and $44, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity. View the list of participating restaurants by cuisine or neighborhood and reserve now at www.eatitupchicago.com.

Chicago's most celebrated chefs will return to the kitchen with more spice and bigger flavors. A showcase of Chicago's finest culinary talents, Restaurant Week 2011 will remind diners why the Michelin Guide, Saveur and more consider Chicago "America's new culinary star." And it wouldn't be a true celebration without bubbles. This year, Chicago Restaurant Week will feature the Champagne First promotion. Diners can change an expected dining experience into an extraordinary one by starting the meal with champagne at several participating restaurants, including Geja's Café, Keefer's, NAHA , One Sixty Blue, Trattoria Isabella and Zealous. The word is out -- Chicago Restaurant Week is the place to be. More than two dozen restaurants are participating for the first time, including The Bristol, Chicago q, Branch 27, Duchamp, Bistrot Zinc, EATT, Prairie Fire, Chicago Cut Steakhouse, Dos Diablos, Oceanique, Vermilion, deca RESTAURANT + BAR, Benny's Chop House, de cero and more.

Chicago Restaurant Week 2010 proved to be the most successful Restaurant Week yet with 177 participating restaurants (a 23% increase over 2009), 335,000 diners and $11.6 million in revenue.
