Discover ways to enhance the beauty within your own backyard when the 2013 Chicago Flower & Garden Show transforms Navy Pier into a colorful showcase for all things floral on Saturday, March 9 through Sunday, March 17.
Inside Festival Hall, the annual expo will celebrate this year's theme "The Art of Gardening" through incredible displays of landscape design, interactive workshops and an extensive marketplace for the newest products and services.

From elegant pergolas, stately decks and lush flower beds to tiny herb gardens and dainty birdhouses, you'll be wowed by the creativity on display. Created and designed by acclaimed landscapers and horticultural professionals, more than 25 featured gardens show off the fine art of designing green spaces. Take away ideas that are practical and affordable for your suburban yard or urban retreat, or just be inspired by the fantastical concepts.
- The Marketplace
Stock up on all the latest goods and tools for your garden at The Marketplace. More than 100 vendors, including nurseries and landscape architects, will have their products and services on hand for you to peruse. Shop flower pots, perennials, retractable awnings or vertical gardens. And make connections and get quotes for custom planters, water features, paved decks or lawn care.
- Seminars & Workshops
Class is in session! With the theme "The Art of Gardening," you'll take away new ideas and techniques to let the beauty found in nature's colors and textures shine through in your outdoor space. Get hands-on with "How To" garden workshops included with your show admission. The demo studio right on the floor show is completely interactive, teaching you step-by-step how to add flourish to floral arrangements; create a container your neighbors will envy; build interest in small-space urban gardens; and more! Also scheduled each day are free educational seminars, with pros sharing insights into topics such as:

EVENING IN BLOOM
Get a sneak peek at this year's displays while sipping fine wine and cocktails and enjoying hors d'oeuvres and live entertainment during the Evening in Bloom preview benefit on Friday, March 8. Proceeds from this A-list event will benefit local greening charities, including Chicago Gateway Green, The Peterson Garden Project, Kendall College Charitable Trust and Special Olympics Chicago.

Individual Chicago Flower & Garden Show tickets are available online, which saves off the box office price, and range from $5-19.
The hours for this year's event are:
- Monday to Saturday: 10 am - 8 pm
- Sundays: 10 am - 6 pm
