What’s green and very smart? It’s the Museum of Science and Industry’s functioning, three-story modular and sustainable “green” home.
Located in the Museum’s back yard where guests can tour the 2500-square-foot home and grounds, Smart Home: Green + Wired showcases all the ways – big and small – to make eco-friendly living a part of life and highlights unique home technologies for the 21st century.
Through January 3, 2010, guests can see the latest innovations in reusable resources, smart energy consumption, sustainable gardens and green roofs, and clean health-living environments in a contemporary setting.
Don’t miss this important and intriguing exhibit at the Museum – the largest science center in the Western Hemisphere.
