Trish Burns is the Coordinator of Adult Programs for the Chicago Academy of Sciences’, the oldest museum in Chicago to inspire people to learn about and care for nature and the environment. She researches and presents a variety of lectures, classes and workshops designed to teach adults about nature and the environment in the Midwest. Prior to joining the Academy, she worked with the National Park Service as a park ranger in many of the premiere parks, including Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. She enjoys spending her time outside and will readily admit to disliking the heat of summer.
