Chicago’s Union Park will be filled with music bands and fans on July 18 – 20. This weekend-long music fest will feature over 30 bands from around the nation. Bands like Spoon, Public Enemy, Vampire Weekend, and No Age will rock three stages with music ranging from rap to indie rock and punk.
However, this show isn’t just a three-day concert. The DEPART-ment store will feature entirely U.S.-made, hand-crafted jewelry, clothing, accessories, and more. The CHIRP record fair will have tons of vinyl treasures and is sponsored by the Chicago Independent Radio Project, a group working to bring a new community radio station to Chicago. And don’t miss the Flatstock 17 Poster Convention where you’ll get to see and buy posters from artists from around the world.
